1. Prepare a scene and candidate portraits
Create your film clip and a few candidate portraits with the tools you already use. Swapeno swaps faces in existing media; it does not generate the film or the portrait. Choose portraits with angles and lighting close to the scene, and use material you have permission to edit.
2. Try the first face in the scene
Select a portrait as the source face and your AI-generated clip as the target video. Check the automatic swapped preview. If there are several people, choose the character you want to replace rather than applying the face to everyone.
3. Compare candidates across several frames
Move the preview through the clip and compare original and swapped views. Look at expressions, head turns, face edges and changes in lighting. Change the source portrait to audition another face. A face that works in one frame may look different during motion.
4. Export each chosen clip and review it
Export with Pro when you are happy with the preview, then save the result to Photos or Files. For several scenes, use the same source portrait and review each exported clip for consistency. Swapeno does not guarantee identical results across scenes and does not assemble clips into a finished film.
Common questions
Does Swapeno generate AI actors or films?
No. Bring an existing portrait and photo or video. Swapeno provides the face swap; use your preferred tools to generate portraits, create scenes and edit your final film.
Can I keep a character portrait for later scenes?
Yes. Choose Keep this face or explicitly add the portrait to the local face library. Source portraits are not saved automatically.
Can I preview several faces before paying?
Yes. Source selection and swapped previews are free. Exporting photos or videos requires a weekly or yearly Pro subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.
