The essentials
This policy covers the Swapeno iOS app and the Swapeno support website. “We” means Swapeno, the developer and operator of these services.
The app includes its face-processing models. We do not receive your photos, videos, or face representations for face-swap processing. The app has no account system, advertising, analytics SDKs, or payment features.
Some actions you choose involve other services: retrieving or saving media through Apple services, exporting or sharing a result, visiting this website, and contacting support. These are explained below.
Faces & media stay on your device.
Swapeno processes media that you select. To locate faces and create a swap, it may derive face locations, landmarks, masks, and numerical face representations (sometimes called embeddings). A face representation describes visual facial features so the app can apply a selected face to another image or video.
This information is used for the editing function you request. It is not used by Swapeno to verify your identity, track you across services, create advertising profiles, or train a remote model. We do not sell your face data or media.

The app’s face processing is local. Your device’s backup settings, iCloud Photos, and any destination you export to are separate from Swapeno’s processing.
When you choose to connect or share
Photos, Files, and Apple services
The app accesses media you select through iOS. It may request permission to save a result to Photos. You can manage permissions in iOS Settings. If selected media exists only in iCloud, Apple may download it to your device. If you use iCloud Photos or device backups, Apple handles those copies according to your settings and Apple’s policies.
Exporting and sharing
When you export or use the iOS share sheet, the chosen destination receives the files you select. That destination may store, upload, or sync them under its own settings and policies. Swapeno does not control copies after you share them.
Support & optional diagnostics
If you email [email protected], we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond, investigate the issue, and manage the support conversation. Our email service provider processes those messages to provide email delivery and storage.
The app can prepare technical diagnostics locally. A report is shared only when you choose to share it. Such a report may include your device model, iOS and app versions, processing settings, and technical error information. Review the report before sending it. Do not include personal media unless you intentionally want to share it for a support request.
We do not automatically upload your media or local diagnostic records to a Swapeno analytics service. Apple may separately provide app diagnostics under your device’s diagnostics and sharing settings.
This support website
This website does not use advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or tracking cookies. The website hosting provider processes ordinary connection information, such as IP address, requested page, browser information, and request time, to serve pages and maintain security and reliability. Hosting logs are separate from the app’s local face processing.
There is no account or contact-form backend on this site. Email links open your email application. The site’s assets are served with the pages; no external font or analytics service is needed to read them.
Retention, deletion & your controls
Saved face portraits and other saved app items remain in local app storage until you remove them. You can turn off automatic recent-face saving in Settings; existing portraits remain until you delete them. Numerical face representations are computed in memory when needed and are not persisted in your library or preferences. Working files may be retained while an edit or export is in progress, and local files can remain after an interrupted operation. Use the app’s removal controls to manage stored items. Removing the app normally removes its local data.
Deleting an item in Swapeno does not delete a copy previously exported to Photos, Files, another service, or a device backup. Manage those copies through the relevant app or Apple settings.
Support messages and attachments are kept for as long as reasonably needed to handle your request, maintain relevant support records, or meet applicable obligations. You can ask us to delete support information by emailing [email protected]. We may need limited information to confirm the request. We cannot retrieve or remotely delete media that exists only on your device.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information held by us, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to make a request. We will consider it under applicable requirements and explain any limitations.
Your device passcode, app permissions, and backup choices help protect your local content. Use media you own or have permission to edit, and review files before sharing them.
Changes & contact
We may update this policy when the app or our practices change. The current version is published here with its effective date. If a change requires notice or consent, we will provide it as required.
