1. Choose your AI-generated portrait
Generate a portrait in your preferred image tool and save it to Photos. A clear, front-facing portrait with lighting similar to your video is a practical first choice. Swapeno uses the portrait for face swapping; it does not generate the source face itself.
2. Import the portrait and your vlog
Choose the portrait as the source face, then select your vlog from Photos or Files. Use the face selection control if other people appear in the scene and you want to replace only your own face.
3. Check the result while you move and speak
Compare the original and swapped preview at several positions in the video. Check head turns, talking, fast movements and partial obstructions. Try a different portrait if the face outline or expression does not fit the footage.
4. Save the version you want to share
Export with Pro and check the finished video in Photos, or save the current result to Files. Face swapping does not alter every identifying feature: review your voice, background and other people separately. If viewers could mistake the edit for genuine footage, make the face edit clear when sharing.
Common questions
Will an AI face make my vlog anonymous?
No. Replacing a face is a visual edit, not an anonymity guarantee. Your voice, body, surroundings and other details may still identify you.
Are my vlog and source face uploaded for processing?
Swapeno processes faces and media on your device. Apple services such as iCloud, purchases and saving or sharing through other apps have their own data handling, described in the privacy policy.
Can I reuse the same AI face for another vlog?
Yes. Explicitly keep or add the source portrait to the local face library. The app keeps only source portraits you choose to save; target videos and results are temporary session files.
